Justine Esagunde-Quinlan is an illustrator known for her expressive characters, fashion-inspired silhouettes, and distinctive pencil-textured details.
Her work is shaped by the stories she encounters through books, films, television, video games, fashion, and editorial design. Drawing particular inspiration from haute couture, cinematic framing, illustrated book covers, and character-driven narratives, Justine creates images that feel both polished and deeply personal.
Her process often begins with storyboarding, visual research, and rough sketches before moving into final linework, colour, and rendering. She has also begun exploring motion illustration, planning animated elements from the earliest stages of a piece.
In 2025, Justine was selected for Arts to Hearts Project’s 100 Emerging Artists, where her work was published alongside an artist interview.
