Dajah Callen is an illustrator based in the Detroit Metro Area, who uses vibrant colours, rich textures, and detailed linework to create playful, expressive imagery, occasionally expanding into animation when the opportunity arises. Her work spans editorial, digital, and cultural projects, with clients including Apartment Therapy, AARP Sisters Letter, AARP Ethel’s Newsletter, The New York Times Book Review, The Los Angeles Times, Outdoor Afro, Outlier Media, and NPR. Outside of illustration, she enjoys painting, working with clay, and building creative worlds in The Sims.
