Meet the Founder
Anya Kuvarzina is a multi-faceted creative professional, renowned for her contributions as an illustrator, educator, and founder of Art Lab, a boutique illustration agency bridging the gap between emerging talent and global clients.
With a degree in Graphic Design from Central Saint Martins and a Master's in Branding and Marketing from Goldsmiths University, Anya brings a deep understanding of the creative industry's needs. Her mission is to infuse commercial projects with fresh creativity and artistic magic.
Over the course of her career, Anya has collaborated with industry giants such as Penguin Random House, POW! Kids Books, Scholastic, Egmont, Yeehoo Press, Kinder, and Mumsnet. Her distinctive illustration style is characterized by playful warmth, subtle textures, and vibrant color palettes, making her a sought-after name in children's publishing and family-focused campaigns.
Beyond her work as an illustrator, Anya has over seven years of teaching experience with Cambridge Education Group, working on UAL and Falmouth accredited BA and MA degrees, including the prestigious MA in Art & Design in collaboration with Hearst Magazines. She also serves as a visiting lecturer at the London College of Communication (LCC), UAL, where she mentors the next generation of creatives.
Through Art Lab, Anya empowers illustrators by providing them with personalized coaching, portfolio development, and direct industry connections. Her curated exhibitions and projects, such as the "Summer Edition" art show, offer artists unique opportunities to showcase and monetize their work.
Anya's dedication to promoting artists extends beyond the classroom.
