Giulia Buratti is an Italian illustrator whose fresh, dynamic work combines expressive linework, bold colour, and a strong sense of movement.
Her creative path began at the Art School in Pietrasanta, followed by a degree in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara.
Her process begins with a close reading of the brief, followed by keywords, visual research, rapid sketches, and colour exploration. She develops the strongest ideas into finished illustrations that balance artistic instinct with clear communication.
Giulia is especially drawn to editorial illustration, advertising, posters, packaging, book covers, board games, and illustrated books for adult audiences. Her work often explores everyday life, sport, music, cinema, travel, social relationships, gender equality, and wellbeing.
