Alla Kunyakh is a children’s illustrator and storyteller. She creates simple, playful illustrations built around humor, strong characters, and clear storytelling. Inspired by Japanese and Korean illustrators she combines simplicity with lively detail and expressive color.
For Alla, illustration is one of the ways to speak, communicate, and build new worlds. She is drawn to projects where there is trust, freedom, and space for imagination. Alla has already worked on projects for the animation series “LaLaBook,” Gramota Publishing, and Channel One. She is currently creating characters for the second LaLaBook animation project for young children and finishing illustrations for an educational book.
She draws inspiration from museums, theatre, films with intricate plots, and long walks through cities and parks, transforming everyday observations into imaginative visual stories.
