Tika and Tata Bobokhidze are a sister duo of illustrators whose work is defined by bold color, expressive characters, and richly detailed environments. They began drawing together as kids and turned their shared passion into a creative career, focusing primarily on children’s book illustration. Their process is rooted in collaboration—from brainstorming compositions to selecting color palettes that match the emotional tone of a story. Tata studied at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, while Tika explored fine art as a university minor. Together, they bring a mix of formal training and intuitive storytelling to their work.
Their past work includes a collaboration with Oxford University Press UK, Scholastic Asia, Hachette UK, Schofield&Sims, Gill Education, Miles Kelly Publishing etc. Whether simplifying complex topics or building entire story worlds, they use vibrant visuals and emotional clarity to create lasting connections with children.
